My, in the meanwhile, itching and used-to-digital fingers where so impatient with this cute little camera that I didn’t got the results that I wanted and that is a soft way saying! Repeatedly leaving the cap on, being too late for the shot while dawdling with the color filters, empty flash batteries and so on! But it was nice playing with Mr. Pink though!

The Lomo limited edition Diana F+ Mr. Pink camera.

Joey van Dongen from www.cloudcuckoo.nl asks creative and inspiring people to document one week of their lives by shooting photos with a Diana Mini camera which will be send to them with one (random) roll of film.

I did all the design work for my sisters company Fris Projecten, you can see it here.

The last weeks I have been supporting their art projects by assisting them with giving creative workshops to children and I loved it!

It shows the diversity of screenplays and my favourites: Les amours imaginaires and Where the wild things are. Once in a while they hold première parties.

At the Swan Market I discovered a very lovely shop; The name is Niche Rotterdam and you can find it at the Zwaanshals quartier that includes a whole serie of new creative shopkeepers al located at this area in the Old North part of Rotterdam.

“Niche Rotterdam is a flower-living-giftshop from Susanne Vuyk. She loves the simple things in life, and espiacely flowers. Niche Rotterdam stands for living on your own natural way and being and to let you surprise yourself! At Niche Rotterdam you come home and you always see something new…”

Immediately I felt the nice ambient and the idea came up to me that it would be great to work in this inspire-full surrounding.
So a few weeks ago I helped there for a day and well, a future collaboration will be definitely blooming soon!

The next edition of swanmarket will be on Sunday, july the 17th.

Sisters Fris at Route du Nord

I made this flyer for, wauw already two years ago now, the first Route Du Nord where my little sister, me and my older sister participated.

We had a whole empty shop available for our own little creative event that we called Fairytale Livingroom with a shopwindow art installation, photo exposition, dj’s, drinks and candy in a retro christmass livingroom atmosphere.
